It was too good to be true and after he voiced his discontent, you met one last time to end officially. You walked anxiously as you were unceremoniously dumped and regret choosing Faneuil Hall, reminded every day when you pass by of this painful conversation. Months later it is December and dark, but Quincy Market is wrapped in golden light and decked with a decadent tree and the brick paths glisten with rain and suddenly Boston is beautiful again.
